Eva Plays the Escapologist in a Recent Performance of Matilda The Musical

In a recent performance of Matilda the Musical at American School of Dubai, Eva played the role of the escapologist. The stage musical was originally adapted by Tim Minchin and Dennis Kelly from the 1988 novel Matilda, by Roald Dahl.

It was also adapted as a 2022 musical film, directed by Matthew Warchus from a screenplay by Dennis Kelly, following its first screen adaptation in 1996. In the plot, Matilda Wormwood, who is neglected and mistreated by her parents, develops psychokinetic abilities to deal with Miss Trunchbull, the ruthless and cruel headmistress of Crunchem Hall School.
