Eva Petersson Stars in You Need Help at The Tank, NYC

Eva Petersson was thrilled to join the talented cast of You Need Help in the lead role of Ava. Written by Annie Rasiel and directed by Bailey Nassetta, with Kaelin Fuld as stage manager, the play is a twisted comedy about independence, interdependence, and the preteen quest for belonging at summer camp.
The play had its debut performance at The Tank Theater as part of the LimeFest Summer Theatre Festival, curated by Meghan Finn. LimeFest celebrates fresh, zesty works from emerging artists and female-led creative team, and You Need Help drew fantastic reviews from its New York audience.
For Eva, performing at The Tank was a “pinch me” moment. The theatre is one of NYC’s most respected incubators of avant-garde drama, recognized with a 2020 Obie Award for supporting emerging artists. Time Out New York has described it as “one of NYC’s premiere incubators of emerging talent,” while The Village Voice called it the city’s “Best Broadway theater turned hipster hangout.”
Eva’s debut on this renowned stage marks an exciting milestone in her career, bringing her unique voice and energy to a production that perfectly balances humor, heart, and a sharp edge.
